Call me crazy, but I’ve never been a shoe girl. Of course, I love a beautiful pair of shoes just like the next woman but I don’t really go crazy over them. After all, they do go on the ground. However, my world stops when I see a gorgeous handbag!
In this post i’m sharing with you guys my current handbag collection, which at the moment consists of a reasonable 19 handbags. Most of these were acquired this year and I thought I’d bring the year to a nice close by rounding them up!
Let’s start off with my favourites; My nude/blush bags!
My absolute, favourite purchase of the year; this gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff Love cross body bag.
Zara bag with scarf, Dune mini top handle bag and Rebecca Minkoff Love cross body bag.
Next are My Everyday Bags. These are mostly black just because i find them easy to wear on a daily basis and also having a 2 year old, I don’t need to go mad worrying about getting them dirty!
This Dune London crocodile print bag has been my new go-to everyday bag. It’s a bit more elegant than my other bags in this category and I love the way it adds a touch of subtle sophistication to any outfit.
From left, Gigi drawstring shoulder bag, Dune london bag and DKNY bag with chain- strap detail.
My DKNY is my most ‘loved’ bag. I’ve had it for 3 years and honestly, it shows but i can’t seem to let it go just yet. I also have 3 other neutral toned bags that i use as everyday bags; My grey Zara tote and a brown cross body H&M bag seen previously in my “Vintage Pink” post and a festival- ready River Island cross body bag that I took with me to Tomorrowland last year.
My Evening Bags
From left, Park Lane gold embellished fold over clutch bag and a simple leather clutch I found in TK Maxx.
I honestly am not the biggest party girl so i don’t have that many evening bags. However I think that these two staple clutches tick the boxes, whether I’m wearing something a bit more dressy or casual.
My Vacation Bags
So happy to add this one to my collection. I had been lusting over these all summer on Instagram and when D went on a work trip to Morrocco in October he was so kind to bring me back one- straight from the souks of Marrakech!
From left, woven basket bag, Glamorous woven pouch with fun pom pom detail and Osprey London mini cross body bag in the most darling shade of blue.
Last but not least, I love using this group of bags to add a splash of colour to my outfits;
These are My Accent Bags
From left, Camelia Roma bag, French Connection bag and Guess mini cross body bag.
Asos embroidered bag with chunky chain strap and Carvela Kurt Geiger small tote bag.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post as I had lots of fun creating it! I also hope it inspires you to try the brands mentioned here as they are truly all amazing quality handbags. All the best in 2018 x
Absolutely beautiful! I love your collection Kathy, especially the nude/blush pieces. 😍
