An impromptu sightseeing expidition to Dromore Lough spurned the creation of this gingham ensemble. In Ireland we are currently experiencing a ‘heat wave’. I say that quote en quote because It was actually only 18 degrees out so not exactly heat wave material but it was definitely warmer than its ever been for a long time! So out came the summer attire and I couldn’t be more shameless about it!
I paired this cute Miss Selfridge cropped, gingham print top with some easy, flowy trousers from Foever21. They are elasticated and have a tie that cinches at the waist. So theres was no sacrifice of comfort over style. The denim jacket is from Bershka; Having this wrapped around my shoulders helped to ward off the chill of the Wild Atlantic way breeze which was still quite nippy!
Finish off with my bag of the moment; my round woven bag from Urban Outfitters and some lace up sandals from Asos that i scored last summer and I was good to go!
Ireland can be so beautiful except that it rains majority of the time and for me that means that i don’t always get out and see much of its natural beauty. So on days like this I am always excited to see new things.
The onset of spring/ summer is finally here and i couldn’t be more pleased about it xx
